First of all I would like to say its been a long time coming and finally we have done it!
Over the last few years myself and Harj have been coming up with ideas and ways in which we could
incorporate a east-west sounding album that reflected both of our musical tastes and cultures, it’s
been a steep learning curve for me and I have learnt a lot in the time that we have worked on this project and the future is promising. I feel that this album is just a taste of what’s to come and I hope to be doing this for a long time. I wanna take a moment to give a Big up to Harj who has been a great support and shown great patience over the years, Respect Bro. To all my family – I love you all. Big shout to everyone that knows me, A special shout out to my girlfriend Tina who has supported me for years in everything I do, thanks to Donna for the photo shoots and also a big thank you to Ninder (Nachural Records) for having faith in us and giving us a chance, and to P-LIM and all the artists and percussionist that have worked on the album, I have learnt a lot from your skills and dedication in what you all do. Roll on 2008!
Our work has just begun, this release is our first milestone of beats to come. I’ve been working hard with people in the bhangra industry looking at the bigger picture in taking this sound further with today’s digital media we can ‘Amplify the sound of XS-BASS’ to more ears around the world. I would like to thank the almighty (Wahey-guru) for giving me the endurance to make this album. It’s been a hard few years working, touring and producing beats. Wizard has been an inspiration and together we have created a unique sound for XS-BASS. My biggest thanks will have to go to my dear wife for supporting me through-out the years and taking care of our two boys while I’ve been traveling around the world, recording and touring with artists. Big support and encouragement from my parents and all the family, you know who you all are. Thanks to our international management ‘G’ in Vancouver and Sukhwinder Singh in India. Thanks for all the support from Dolfin (ZEE Roadshow), Panjabi-MC (PMCrecords.com), all the song writers, singers and percussionists.
