XS-BASS is Harj D

Heading up the camp Harj D is the owner and sole proprietor of XS-BASS and works on more than just producing music. The Album 'AMPLIFIED' released in June 2008 was in the making for over 3 years whilst working with the wizard on new concepts and ideas, the album has been around the world to be completed. Recording live percussion in Punjab, vocals in Canada and shooting video parts in USA. Whilst managing the studios back home, cooking up new beats for experiment with...

The Wizard

In the year 2000 he started to make computer based music and built up a library of beats which he used to make with various ep’s and demos, with a couple of mates. 3 years later the wizard met up with Harj and was on the verge of completing his XS-BASS album (about time). He asked if he could be involved in XS- BASS and from there he started by working on two bonus tracks for the album. Since then Harj D & The Wizard have been working on various underground projects and creating a sound you hear today.

 

 

Surinder Shinda & son Maninder

With this collobartion of one of the greatest desi music tread setter in the world. Surrinder Shinda and his Son Maninder Shinda feature together on a hard HIP-HOP track featuring P-LIM a rapper from the States.

Maninder Shinda who is based in Surrey CANADA has been travelling back and fourth from India working with producers such as Pankaj Ahuja son of the great Charnjit Ahuja but has not laid down any vocals with his dad on the same track. Harj D took down the 'GABROO PUNJAB DEH' track to CANADA for P-LIM to spit some lyrics down, he saw the opportunity of recording Maninder on the same track and having him feature in the Music Video... Thinking soon became a reality. Even Mr Hollywood Harv added his touch with an outro on the track.

PLIM


P-LIM collabrorated with MC LYTE, on a E.P produced by XS-BASS in 2007 which got him noticed in the UK Brit-Asian industry. The E.P contained tracks which are also avilable on the 'AMPLIFIED' Album with a NEW track titled 'DO MY THANG' which was used on the ZEE ROADSHOW TOUR as the opening track.

 

Lehmber Hussainpuri

A name everyone who loves BHANGRA recognises. Lehmber features on a track which was sung over 4 years ago, with purcussion performed in 2006 by Tubsy (DCS) and the classic madalin melody recreated in the Punjab in 2007.

 

Jelly Manjeetpuri

Jelly had his 1st release on ISHK Records for Bally Sagoo on his debut film 'Sajna Ve Sajna' known as the tumbi master of INDIA, Jelly has been a great inspration on the XS-BASS Album and on fourth coming projects...

 

Laddi Dhaliwal

A student of Jelly Manjitpuri, Laddi has been crafted to sing by a master with great musical knowledge, Laddi has trained to hold notes longer than you could hold your breath under water.

 

Maninder Bawa

A name which is up and coming in the Punjab, re-created a new classic from a melody all desi heads remember, Maninder has a great tone and guided by Jelly Manjeetpuri they have made a number one 'Lovers Anthem'

 

Warayam Birnala

Struggling with day-to-day life, Warayam has experiences the hardship of life and has never had the support of becoming a singing... When you hear this guy sing - the hairs on the back of your neck will raise. Watch out for more stuff coming from this guy...
